Together with Fotios Petropoulos<\/a> we launched a new portal to facilitate judgemental forecasting research. The aim of the Forecasting Society<\/strong> (www.forsoc.net<\/a>) is to bring together researchers in judgemental forecasting and participants from practice and academia. At the same we hope that it will grow to be a discussion forum to exchange and promote judgemental forecasting ideas and research.<\/p>\n

Currently it hosts two two active experiments, one looking at how humans choose between different forecasting models in contrast to statistical methods and the second one investigating the link between the cognitive abilities of forecasters and forecasting capabilities.<\/p>\n

We invite you to host your forecasting experiments at the Forecasting Society<\/strong> (www.forsoc.net<\/a>) or join as a participant!<\/p>\n
