I’m Konstantinos Kourentzes, and for me, music is not just sound — it’s an entire world waiting to be stepped into.
I create dark, immersive soundscapes where ancient echoes collide with cinematic intensity, weaving together the primal and the modern. My work blends the pulse of ritual folk, the weight of atmospheric metal, and the storytelling of epic soundtracks into experiences that feel as old as myth and as fresh as a heartbeat.
From the deep resonance of tribal percussion to haunting vocal layers and sweeping instrumentals, every piece I create is a journey — an unfolding story designed to carry you into shadowed landscapes, forgotten ruins, and dreamlike realms where darkness and beauty walk side by side.

My inspirations come from many worlds:
- The ritualistic power and primal energy of Heilung
- The raw mysticism and depth of Rotting Christ
- The vast cinematic universes of Dune and The Witcher
- The timeless pull of ancient myths and lost histories
For me, music is a conversation with the subconscious — a way to speak in textures, rhythms, and atmospheres that words can’t always capture. It’s about connection: between past and present, between the listener and the story, between the shadows and the light that seeps through them.
Behind the Sound

Composition – Where It Begins
Everything starts with an idea — a mood, an image, a story fragment. I write using a mix of:
- MIDI sequencing: Laying out musical ideas digitally allows me to sculpt rhythm, melody, and harmony with precision.
- Digital scoring: I build full orchestral mockups or ambient layers using notation and MIDI-based composition tools.
- AI-assisted generative input: I seed AI models with themes or motifs to uncover unexpected patterns or textures — not as shortcuts, but as collaborators in controlled chaos.
Instrumentation – Organic Meets Synthetic
Once the skeleton is built, I begin layering the sound:
- Synthesizers & Keyboards: From analog warmth to crystalline digital pads, synths provide the heart of my atmosphere.
- Sample libraries & VST instruments: I use high-quality libraries for strings, percussion, drones, and choirs — blending realism with surrealism.
- Live recordings (when applicable): I record keyboard phrases, percussive elements, or even ambient sounds to bring depth and breath into the mix.
AI-Regenerated Parts – Controlled Innovation
AI tools are a creative extension of my process, used for:
- Melodic and harmonic exploration: Suggesting variations or alternate layers
- Textural generation: Creating synthetic ambience, glitches, or vocal-like tones
- Vocal processing & transformation: Shaping real or synthetic voices into something unrecognizable and cinematic
Everything is heavily edited, rearranged, or re-sculpted — AI has stepped up the process in ways no human would be able to achieve on his own. One score can be re-arranged, re-purposed, re-touched in multiple outputs and ways.
Vocals – Real, Processed, or Simulated
Depending on the track’s needs:
- Live vocals (mine or collaborators’) are recorded, often layered, whispered, or ritualistically chanted
- Simulated vocals (AI or synthetic engines) are used for ethereal choirs, distorted voices, or ghostly harmonics
- Hybrid vocals: I sometimes combine live takes with heavily processed AI textures to create something truly alien
Mixing – Sculpting the Sonic Landscape
Mixing is where the story becomes reality:
- DAWs: I use FL Studio to balance, automate, and refine.
- Spatial design: I give instruments and effects their own space — left, right, close, distant — using panning, reverb, and EQ.
- Color and texture: I mix clean and dirty, soft and sharp, to capture emotion and contrast.
Every decision in the mix supports the atmosphere — tension, release, silence, and violence.
