THE DUALITY OF THE GOD-THING
In the Heretical Framework of the Bifurcated Soul, drawn from the lost work of Magos-Kabbalist Erem Vhuul, the Emperor’s spiritual self is split into two polarized essences at the moment of the Horusian Wound:

THE GOLDEN THRONE AS COCOON
The Imperium believes the Golden Throne is a life-support device.
It is not.
It is a Womb of Apotheosis.
The daily sacrifice of psykers, the millions of prayers, the glory of martyrdom, and the paralyzing fear of freedom all form a ritual engine—slowly nourishing the Dark Emperor, growing him as a being of Warp dominion.
